Welcome to the Patient Portal
At Roots to Blooms Acupuncture & Wellness we are committed to providing non-judgmental, compassionate, and harm reductionist acupuncture. The clinic is open to all ages, races, body-types, abilities, sexual orientations, class, and gender identities.
We accept cash, check, credit cards, and HSA cards and are out of network with all insurance companies. We require full payment at time of service, but are happy to provide you with a Superbill to give to your insurance company for reimbursement.
New patient paperwork can be found under the link in the Patient Portal menu.
We require 24 hours notice for cancelled appointments. Appointments not cancelled within that time and no shows will be charged a missed appointment fee. Patients arriving 15 minutes or more late for their appointment may be rescheduled and charged a missed appointment fee if we are not able to accommodate the late arrival.
Your First Visit
Before your first appointment please print and fill out our New Patient Forms from the link below.
Be sure to eat a meal or snack within two hours of coming to your appointment and avoid caffeinated beverages until afterward.
For your appointment wear loose, comfortable clothes that can be pulled up above your elbows and knees. For some types of treatments you may need to disrobe, and we will maintain your modesty with sheets, towels, or blankets.
During your appointment we will assess your condition and develop a treatment plan that is unique to your presentation. We will discuss treatment frequency, dietary and lifestyle recommendations, and if needed, an herbal formula prescription. During your acupuncture treatment you may feel drowsy or even fall asleep, and we encourage you to relax into your 'acu nap.'
After your treatment refrain from vigorous activity such as working out; be sure to drink plenty of water and get adequate rest. Your body will be processing the treatment for the next 24-48 hours.
