We're nearing the finish! As the year comes to a close, let's do a little housekeeping...
We have almost made it through year two of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic with less than one month to go until the start of a new year..
We ALL have had more than our share of stress, frustration, and personal loss due to this persistent virus. I'm hoping that we turn the corner and can move about and live more freely soon. May 2022 be that time!
The pandemic has increased the cost of well... everything, and I have done my best to absorb those costs for the last 21 months, as raising prices is not something I take lightly. That being said, I've had to make the difficult decision to raise the price of regular acupuncture sessions to $85 each because the cost of my supplies, especially acupuncture needles, has increased. Be assured, I will still give you all of my love, attention, and silly humor.
The price of all other services will remain the same as they are now. Only regular, return visit acupuncture treatments will increase in price. To put it in perspective, that's a $10 increase per visit, so
$10 per month if you visit monthly,
$20 per month if you visit twice per month,
$40 per month if you visit weekly.
As a show of gratitude for your continued support, confidence in me, and commitment to your health, I am offering a deep discount on packages of treatments purchased before December 31st. You can purchase a package of 10 treatments for $650, which will end up being $20 off per visit come January 1st. The package is good for a year, can be split between family members who are existing patients, and must be purchased in the office.
While we are here I want to remind you of our office policies.
Despite the spa-like atmosphere, Roots to Blooms Acupuncture & Wellness is a medical clinic. As such I am required to clean before, between, and after patients, therefore, please arrive on time and not more than 5 minutes early for your appointment. If you find the office door locked or a chair in the hallway outside the clinic, I am cleaning and will be with you shortly. I appreciate you helping me to keep us all safe!
We have a 24 hour cancellation policy, but if you have a scheduling conflict or need to cancel, please let Jessica know ASAP instead of waiting for your text reminder. Non-emergency cancellations with fewer than 24 hours notice will be charged a late cancellation fee of $40. Everyone gets one free pass on a late cancellation or no show appointment, and many have already gotten theirs.
Multiple rescheduled or cancelled appointments will result in having to call the day you want an appointment. Your time is reserved for you and that means someone else couldn't come in at that time. It is difficult to fill abandoned appointment times on short notice. There are always exceptions for emergencies and events beyond anyone's control and these will be assessed on a case by case basis.
If you arrive late, you will get the remainder of your allotted treatment time without an extension. If you arrive 15 minutes or more late, this is considered a missed appointment, there is a $40 fee, and we will have to reschedule.
Parking on the street is free until February 1, 2022, or park in spaces 10, 11, 9, or 7 if they are available. Once the snow flies 7, 9, and 10 may disappear under a pile of snow.
Help yourself to a cup of tea, a bottle of water, or a snack after your appointment. Don't be shy- dark chocolate is actually good for you!

Enjoy the pace of this month. Try not to sweat the small stuff. Be kind to yourself.
